Vehicle Donation Program FAQs

1.) Q.   What kind of vehicles can be donated?
A.   We can accept both standard automobiles and specialized vehicles. For some examples please view our list of Vehicles That Can Be Donated.

2.) Q.   What if the vehicle is not running?
A.   If the vehicle has sale value above the cost of our towing it, we can even take vehicles that do not run. When you call in, our trained representative will ask you a few questions about its condition. You can help us by giving us what might actually be the problem.

3.) Q.   What if the vehicle is not whole?
A.   If your vehicle is missing certain parts, let us know when you call in what parts they are so we can evaluate if we can make your donation work.

4.) Q.   What if the vehicle does not have a clear title?
A.   We cannot process your donation without a clear title. It is important that you work out the requirements to obtain a clear title. We would be happy to answer any questions you might have about this.

5.) Q.   The vehicle is located in a rural area a great distance from the city. Will you still pick it up?
A.   Our arrangements cover most of the United States except Hawaii, even if it is rural. Call and let us know where the vehicle is and we will confirm our ability to make this pick up of your donation.

6.) Q.   Who pays the towing service cost?
A.   There will be no cost to you. We pay this cost.

7.) Q.   Will this donation be deductible on my taxes?
A.   Each case is different and is best advised by your tax consultant or accountant.

8.) Q.   Is there any way we can donate the vehicle in a hurry because we are in the process of moving?
A.   Yes, we can fax to you the required forms for you to complete. You can return the forms with the signed title by overnight mail to us for final review and acceptance. We will start the scheduling of the towing or pickup service the same day.
